VOLKER FRANK

VOLKER FRANK

Volker Frank works with senior leaders who are navigating complexity, pressure, and political dynamics without wanting to lose their integrity in the process. His work focuses on the moments where leadership becomes personally demanding—when decisions carry real consequences, alignment breaks down, and leaders are asked to hold more than feels reasonable.

Rather than offering more tools or frameworks, Volker helps leaders and teams strengthen how they relate to themselves, to each other, and to the systems they operate in. His approach centers on clarifying what is actually theirs to carry, stabilizing their stance under pressure, and expanding their capacity to act with clarity and influence without relying on manipulation or over-functioning.

He works with both individuals and leadership teams, based on the principle that leadership is not an individual trait but emerges from the quality of connection and responsibility within a group.

Volker brings over 15 years of experience in systemic coaching, organizational development, and leadership facilitation. Earlier in his career, he worked as a designer, business analyst, and project manager, translating complex collaboration and business processes into scalable software systems. This background informs his ability to bridge strategic, relational, and operational perspectives. He has supported leaders and teams across a range of organizations and has been a long-time lecturer in the Agile Management Program at UC Berkeley Extension.
