For nearly three decades, Monica has advised organizations and leaders across Fortune 500 companies, fast-growing businesses, foundations, non-profits, government organizations, family-owned enterprises, and academic institutions throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Her expertise spans strategy, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, leadership and board effectiveness, succession planning, talent, culture, and large-scale transformation. She is passionate about helping people, teams, and organizations develop the capacity to create meaningful change—from the inside out, within their organizations, and across the broader systems and ecosystems they influence.
Monica brings a combination of strategic rigor and more than 30 years of study and practice in embodiment and human development. She teaches at the Strozzi Institute for Somatics, where she develops leaders, trains somatic coaches and practitioners, and teaches programs in embodied leadership, somatic coaching, and somatic bodywork. She also co-designed and teaches the Embodied Leadership Pathway, a multi-month leadership development program that helps leaders cultivate the embodied capacities needed to thrive in complexity. Working at the intersection of strategy, human development, and organizational transformation, Monica helps leaders strengthen trust, relationships, and adaptive capacity to enable people, teams, and organizations to thrive in complexity.
Prior to founding Amplify Yourself, Monica spent fifteen years with McKinsey & Company, where she held global business and operational leadership roles, including Global Head of the McKinsey Talent Network, Global Dean for McKinsey’s Executive Transitions Masterclass, Global Management Head for McKinsey’s CEO & Board Excellence Practice, and Global COO for McKinsey’s Organization Design Practice. She designed leadership curricula, developed methodologies, facilitated executive development programs for hundreds of senior leaders worldwide, and trained McKinsey partners to serve as faculty and deliver executive education in executive transitions, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and CEO and board effectiveness.
Monica holds a BA magna cum laude from Tufts University and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
